Well considering I have at least one coffee a day here I figured I’d write another brief post on Andreanna’s Bread Cafe before doing a review. Today Andreannea’s started their full breakfast menu which consists of Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, Scrambled Eggs…the list goes on!!! I’ll put some photos up of the menu when I do my review, but the prices are very reasonable and the quality is fantastic!

I was actually planning on doing breakfast at the new Ob-Oon Bakery cafe and restaurant today however having stopped by here first for a latte and seeing the full menu now available – I couldn’t pass. Nothing fancy this morning though, in fact what I ordered wasn’t really on  the menu – I just wanted plain old poached eggs on toast. The chef seemed quite amazed when his menu was filled with fancy Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine (not to mention all the rest) – but I’ll save that for another day when I do the full review.

Eggs were cooked to perfection and the bread…oh the bread…nothing less than perfect! I’ve tried all different breads from here including burger buns, baguettes, multigrain loaf and even and a traditional Irish Soda Bread – the best Irish Soda Bread I’ve had outside of Ireland! This place does it all and they do it well.

I figured for this post I’d put some photos up of the pastries because I generally always eat eggs on toast of some sort – but these guys have amazing pasteries from sweet to savoury – and all of them look good. Just check out the pies, sausages and croissants – lightest, cripiest pastry ever!

Oh – and last but CERTAINLY not least – the coffee! I generally get a cappuccino from here, but today I thought I’d go a latte. Hadn’t seen one ordered here before and couldn’t see a latte cup anywhere so figured I was just going to get a cappucino. I was surprised, the latter came out in a cool tall glass that reminded me of when I was in Budapest and most of the coffee was served in something that looked much the same. The coffee here is great and they source their beans from a quality roaster – the same roaster that supplies beans to another favourite cafe of mine.

Anyway, maybe not as brief a post as I thought – but if you’re in the area definitely pop in and have a bite to eat and a coffee!
