Craft beer and coffee in a jungle…Walking into this cafe you feel like you’re walking into a live version of Tomb Raider. The entrance is curtained with vines and other green plants welcoming you into a Tomb Raider type jungle decked with stone tables, chairs and water features. It’s definitely unique in this area as I’ve not seen a place quite like it.
I was surprised I’d never heard of this place before – it’s been around for 9 years now and it’s actually a house which the owners thought they would open to the public and offer coffee, craft beer and pasta. Like I said, I was surprised I’d never heard of this place as I’ve done a heap of searches on Google and Facebook for “craft beer”, “cafes”, “coffee” etc. etc. and never saw this place pop up until I was reading a food magazine in another local cafe. My eyes came across their advertisement and I decided to pay them a visit.
The first thing that grabbed me was the jungle look and feel of the place and also the tables and chairs they had inside for setting up your laptop – looked like a really cool little co-working space as well.
I arrived here with a friend around 9:30 am for a coffee, so didn’t try the pasta or the craft beer, but the photos of the pasta look amazing and the craft beer selection is HUGE! Well big for Hua Hin, probably the largest selection of craft beer I’ve seen other than HOB’s at Scenespace (a blog for another day).
Coffee wasn’t anything “amazing” – but still it was in the top 50% of coffees I’ve had here in Hua Hin.
