Another great cafe in Hua Hin! This would be the best coffee in the Khao Takiab area in my opinion.
It’s setup much like a Takeaway drive through restaurant (coffee to go) with an outdoor sliding window for you take your order from outside the cafe if you’re on the run! The design of the place obviously follows their shops/cafe’s in Bangkok, in particular the “Coffeelism Stand” branch.
Although it’s designed to serve people who are on the go and need a quick take away coffee, it does have a nice indoor area attached which is well air conditioned, bright and spacious. I was in need of some cooling down after riding the bicycle in today, so I opted to take a seat inside the cafe and recharge.
The coffee is served in paper cups which would be the only downside to this (as I much prefer to drink out of a mug or cup), but I guess they are targeting people who on the go, so this makes sense. On the hand, perhaps it’s just a way to keep the costs down, or maybe it’s just the trend, I know a few other top quality cafe’s in Bangkok that are doing the same thing. But don’t let the paper cup make you think they’re doing it on the cheap…this would have to be one the best coffee’s you’ll find in the area. You also still get a glass of water with your coffee if you chose to stay in the cafe, so other than paper cups, you still get the cafe experience, including.
- The glass of water on the site
- Free WiFi
- Clean toilet/bathroom
They open at 8am in the morning, so although not the earliest coffee you can found in Hua Hin, it’s still earlier than a lot of other cafe’s around.
What did you like most about the place?
The quality of coffee ( Nice and strong, but not too bitter – a great smooth taste ) and at really good price. A cappuccino or latte is 60 baht, and. You get a good serving in the cup too.
What other features/facilities stood out?
I’d say the large glass windows and outdoor plants around building – makes you feel you’re centered in an air-conditioned garden 🙂
What are the prices like?
Great value for money – for this quality of coffee, it’s a very good price. The same quality I’d get from quality cafe’s in Bangkok, but at half the price.
Where are they located?
(Main road heading into Khao Takiab – just after the Sunset Plaza heading south) – Nong Kae, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110
It literally sits in front of the Norndee Hotel
Where can I find them online?
I couldn’t find a Facebook page for their Hua Hin branch, but they have posts about it on their other Facebook pages.
