This cafe has a brilliant breakfast menu and amazing prices!
Better Moon x Refill Station – an eco-friendly cafe near the Onnut BTS station in Bangkok and focuses on helping the environment waste problem by not using plastic, rather using green/eco-friendly products.
I stumbled across this place this morning while walking about the area looking for a cafe where I good get a good coffee, wifi and open space. This place ticked all boxes!
What did you like most about the place?
Probably the price and the menu. They had a great range of healthy breaky’s to choose from including a poached Egg on Toast for 75 baht. At that price I was expecting a pretty basic slice of toast and average looking poached egg, but it was presented with some watercress, small tomatoes and a little dressing on the side. The poached Egg was cooked well too, with the yolk all runny in the middle. It is only a single poached egg, however the slice of toast is quite thick, so it’s quite a filling breaky, however if you’re starving, you might want to order two.
What other features/facilities stood out?
- The organic look and feel of the place, very relaxing
- Location – not too far from Onnut BTS. The other good thing is it is on a strip where there is a heap of outdoor food stalls selling great thai street food. We were allowed to order something from one of the street food stands and eat it in the cafe BUT, it couldn’t contain any plastic (bag or plate etc.)
- They really promote eco-friendly products here
- Great Wifi, really fast and no user/password was required – Easy!
What are the prices like?
Really good value for what you get. The prices are really cheap in my opinion, and this is not at all reflected in the quality of food or presentation, in fact you’d expect to pay a lot more by looking at the meals they serve out here. Coffee is around 70 baht.
